U.S. Under-15 girls’ national team head coach Tracey Kevins has named the roster for the team’s upcoming training camp and two matches against the Germany U-15 girls national team. Reign Academy goalkeeper Neeku Purcell is among the 20 players selected to head to Germany.

“Neeku is gaining incredible international experience representing her country and we could not be prouder,” said Reign Academy technical director Kim Calkins. “The young goal keeper is witty, competitive, and the consummate teammate. She will look to grow and learn as much as she possibly can and embrace an opportunity that is given to a very few.”

This is the third U-15 GNT call-up for Purcell this year, having previously been called into camp in September. The camp and matches mark the first international trip for this age group and the U-15s’ first international matches abroad.

The U-15s will face Germany on Wednesday, November 1st in Marburg, Germany. The match is closed to the public. The teams will meet again on Friday, November 3rd at Stadion Wetzlar in Wetzlar, Germany. The second match will be open to the public.

This group of U-15 players is in the first year of a two-year cycle before transitioning to U-17s in 2019, when they will form the core of the team that will attempt to qualify for the 2020 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.
